ABOUT THE AUTHOR
GD Tebbutt is a children’s author, creative parent, and lifelong storyteller based in Surrey, England. His books combine fast-paced adventure with deeper themes, from resilience and misinformation to family legacy and hidden truths.
His debut, The Legend of the Brass Compass, began as a family game and quickly turned into a published story. Since then, he’s written Netherdeep Academy, a bold and thought-provoking novel designed to get KS2 readers asking the right questions, even when the answers are uncomfortable.
